Summer is long gone and winter is almost here. Here at Rodriguez Studios, life is busy as usual. I would like to inform everyone about important information on ways of contacting me. The main website has a contact form which you can email me, alternatively it has an email if you are not comfortable filling out all of the information.

So without any further ado, here is additional information that you might find useful with detailed instructions.

Cell: 404-291-2594 (Same deal as above but voice messages goes directly to me)

Skype: Rodstudios (Customers who live outside of the United States or Canada or people who do not have long distance)

Yes I am officially introducing that I'm with Skype as one of the new ways in reaching me. Skype is a free piece of software that you can talk over the internet to a different for free. That's right free pc's – pc's calls no matter in the world. The sound quality is superb with a high speed connection. All you need is to go to skype.com, download the free software, get a good headset with a mic or speakers, and an internet connection.

The world is getting a lot easier and affordable in reaching me so there is no excuse. Happy Holidays!

An Update

Summer is almost long and gone, sometimes I wonder how time really flies and it's back to school and work for most of us. I've working really hard on two re-designs for two clients and it's finished.

It has a fresher and college look to it plus it's cleaner and more organized. The Wesley Foundation website is more dynamic because the parent's page is connected to MySql database. It has a photo gallery, the photos are retouched by me, and the drop down menu is designed by using Flash. When school starts, hopefully those websites will be updated frequently.

For the CCF web, I'm using strict xhtml prior to its predecessor of 100% flash. Somehow how I've managed it fit the entire screen so people of all monitors would have to do less scrolling. I should keep in mind that all monitors are not created equal.

Well I'll keep y'all posted!

Rodriguez Studios 1 year later

SO I was thinking about the awesome things that happened a year ago when I officially launch my website to the entire world in offering my services. Now in 2008 it has been a great ride.

It has been rather slow but I'm enjoying the success that I've earned throughout this time. No regrets. My first goal is to graduate college within the next year and then off to bigger challenges.

As I begin the new year of work please keep me in mind through your praises and support, I will always be there for you.

Well thanks for a great year and looking forward of serving you for many years to come.

Yes the title speaks for itself, no I haven't forgotten about anyone; I've just been extremely busy with everything. Now winter is long and gone I'm off for the summer with good grades as usual but the boasting will stop. Well not technically because I'm happy to announce that I Gabriel Louis Rodriguez is a senior at Kennesaw State University! I'll let everyone know when I'm going to march up to receive my diploma. Now in other news, my expertise is rapidly improving in photoshop. One of the websites that I am doing for a client will be in photoshop. In other words it's a redesign. The current Wesley Foundation website it's almost the same however I've temporally redesigned just a tad because I started to think about all monitors aren't created equally. The Wesley website wasn't properly fitting in old school monitors since I created the website in my wide screen laptop. Buttons were distorted and content were all over the place. I'm surprised nobody reported that issue to me but I've taken action. Now, not only it looks more organized, just the body of the website changes when the user click the button. Since in asp.net, developers are able to create Master Pages so I've taken that idea into xhtml. That is the best way to create fully functional and organized websites.

Take a look

Also take a look at the redesign although it's not complete

One of my other exciting news is that I've develop an asp.net application for one of my projects at school. Our group decided to become a fictional non profit organization that people can order care packages for other non profits. I would love to show you online so everyone can test drive the final product however due to that I don't have a Microsoft server but I'm providing screen shots so you can plan what kind of product that you want for your company. That's all folks but come back soon……

New Stuff

February is almost over and I hope everyone is having a good new year. Now for some news. Starting I'll be able to keep in touch with everyone since I'm upgrading my phone services to Comcast. That means I can virtually talk to everyone in the entire U.S., Canada, Puerto Rico, and all of U.S. Territories. International folks don't sweat or panic; I'll be able to make calls regardless.

Have you ever wondered if you wanted an online form that sends to an email inbox or sends it to a database and if you or your customers lost the connection to your website and lose all of the information that they have entered? Problem is solved through Rodriguez Studios form designs. I can design complex forms that it automatically saved while you enter your stuff and it you can simply save it. Wanna test drive it yourself??

Go to:

http://www.rodriguezstudios.com/complexforms/

Do following steps:

Enter fake data (You do not have to enter your real information unless you are interested )
Hit the tab key to move to the next line and see the upper left hand corner
Close your browser
Go back to the link to see your stuff that is safely recovered.

1=Amazing huh?

The visitors of your website will be amazed and you can obtain more clients. This form will only work in flash but it can be embedded in a regular html website.

Happy New Year

2008 is here. Time really flies especially when we stay busy. I'm back in school yet for another semester of hard work and trying to graduate. Speaking of graduation, I'm officially one credit of becoming a senior at Kennesaw State University. It's really exciting that my hard work and sweat will pay off soon. It turns out that I only need 34 credits till I graduate. However I'm really disappointed towards the CSIS department because they decided to make the majority of the courses meets once a week. That took a toll in choosing my classes because I'm taking two business courses and a computer class. I know that you are thinking that I should be blessed because I'm a business owner and I should know how to manage it well. It's true and I'm going to do my best but you know I'm a computer fanatic.

Rodriguez Studios is currently re-designing one of my client's website. It's actually my first design that I have ever done for anybody and believe me it's time for a face lift. It's kind of sad that I would have to take it down but I will save it, then some years down the road I will able to see my first success. I will post the link when it's completed.
